About Mayong Cultural Walk
The Mayong Cultural Walk is a special guided experience and cannot be done on your own. If you come without booking in advance, you will not find the starting point, This is a private cultural excursion that includes visits to a local family home and hidden parts of the village, accessible only with a guide.
Putu, your local guide, will lead you through local farmer plantation, the rice fields and village paths, sharing stories about nature, daily life, and Balinese traditions. The walk ends with a delicious home made lunch.

The guided walk lasts about 2.5 hours, covering about 4 km easy path suitable for both experienced and inexperienced hikers in good health, as well as families with children. Including lunch, the entire experience takes approximately 4 hours.

Along the way walk you will learn about local culture, traditions, plantations, herbs and rice cultivation with plenty of opportunities to take photos of the beautiful scenery.

The experience concludes with a visit to Putu Artana’s home where you can enjoy a delicious lunch featuring authentic Balinese home-cooked dishes.
