Jukut

Ria’s jukut, a traditional Balinese soup (with Chicken meat or Vegetable only on your request) is a must-try for anyone visiting Mayong! She prepares it with authentic Balinese herbs, creating a rich and aromatic flavor profile that reflects Bali’s culinary heritage. This special soup features fresh local vegetables, often combined with fragrant spices like lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves, which add layers of warmth and depth to the broth. Ria’s expertise in balancing these unique flavors makes her jukut a standout dish, offering visitors an authentic taste of Bali’s home-cooked flavors.

Balinese Chicken Tum
Delicately minced chicken blended with aromatic Balinese herbs lemongrass, galangal, shallots, and kaffir lime, elegantly wrapped in banana leaves and steamed to perfection. Tender, fragrant, and subtly spiced for a refined yet comforting experience.

Uraban

Mixed vegetables ( vegtarian ) tossed with fragrant grated coconut and Balinese inspired spices full of flavor, but gentle on the heat.

Bregedel Jagung

Ria’s bregedel jagung ( Vegetarian), or corn fritters, are a delightfully crunchy treat that showcase her skill with Balinese herbs. Made from fresh corn kernels mixed with a blend of local spices, these fritters have a unique flavor that combines the natural sweetness of corn with savory, aromatic herbs. Lightly fried to a perfect crisp, Ria’s corn fritters are both crunchy on the outside and tender inside, making them an irresistible snack or side dish. Her careful use of herbs adds a hint of spice and warmth, giving these fritters a truly authentic Balinese twist.

Jagung

Bregedel Kentang

Bregedel Kentang (Vegetarian of Indonesian Potatos Fritter) Crispy golden potato fritters, soft inside, lightly seasoned and full of comforting flavor.

Ayam Bumbu Tomat

Ria’s ayam bumbu tomat, or chicken in tomato sauce, is a flavorful dish that brings out the best of Balinese cooking. Her special method combines tender chicken with a rich tomato sauce infused with local herbs and spices. The sauce is simmered to perfection, allowing the tomatoes to release their natural sweetness, which blends harmoniously with hints of garlic, shallots, and aromatic spices. This special way of cooking adds depth and a uniquely Balinese flavor profile, making ayam bumbu tomat one of Ria’s standout dishes that visitors love to savor.

Oseng Oseng 

Ria’s oseng-oseng ( Vegetarian), or stir-fried vegetables, is a fresh and flavorful dish that embodies the simplicity and vibrancy of Balinese cuisine. Lightly spiced and sautéed, this dish includes a mix of fresh local vegetables, often featuring greens, carrots, and beans, cooked to retain their crunch and natural flavors. Tempe Nyat Nyat

Ria’s tempe nyatnyat is a delicious, curry-like dish that highlights the earthy flavors of tempe with a Balinese twist. She prepares it with a blend of spices, including nutmeg, which adds warmth and depth to the dish. The tempe absorbs the rich curry sauce, creating a soft texture that bursts with flavor. Chicken Satay Ala Ria

Ria satay is truly unique, the blend of traditional herbs she uses gives it a distict flavor that stand out.

This special satay, part of her signature cooking is crafted with a mix of balinese spices that perfectly balances savory and aromatic element, creating a dish that leaves a memorable impression.

Her attention to using  fresh ingredient and adapting the recipe to appeal to western palate make this satay a favorite among visitors.

Pisang Goreng

Pisang Goreng is Indonesian fried bananas, crispy outside and soft inside, often enjoyed as a Dessert or snack.
